Doubling the Impact of Stories in SW Washington in October

Our Bold Voices is to pleased present two events in SW Washington for National Coming Out Month. These events are supported by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission. In addition, local sponsors Camas Public Library, Lisa Le Properties, Healing Bridge, Connect BG, and Molina Healthcare are providing support to make these community events possible.

Our first event, “National Coming Out Month: Our Stories” will take place on October 12th at Camas Library.

Our second production, “Coming Out as You,” will take place on October 20th at Battle Ground High School.

Both events will feature residents from Clark County and will include a resource fair and offer refreshments.

Battle Ground parent Jessica Cole was instrumental in bringing LGBTQ+ storytelling back to Clark County after attending Prideful Voices Vancouver this past June.

Jessica says, “I think it’s important to have these types of events so people like me who aren’t LGBTQ can learn from the experiences of LGBTQ people in our community. It  it’s important for me to learn how I can support the LGBTQ community.”
